S & R Remodeling was founded in 2018 by childhood friends Russell and Sam, both sons of experienced general contractors in Raleigh, NC. Growing up in the construction industry, they learned essential trades and craftsmanship from their fathers before relocating to the Wilmington, NC area for college after high school.
After exploring different career paths for several years, Russell and Sam reunited to establish their remodeling company, combining their shared passion for quality construction. In 2021, both earned their North Carolina Licensed General Contractor credentials. Today, S & R Remodeling brings over 35 years of combined experience in residential remodeling, window and door installation, bathroom renovation, and general contracting services to homeowners throughout the Wilmington area. When they're not transforming homes, you'll find Russell and Sam enjoying the outdoors as dedicated outdoorsmen and environmental stewards.

Russell
Russell moved from Raleigh, NC to Wilmington, NC in 2008 to attend Cape Fear Community College. He worked as a paramedic for 3 years before he began working as a foreman for a contracting company; where he learned the essential skills of the trade. Russell currently resides in Wilmington, NC with his dog Cheddar.
Sam
Sam moved to Wilmington, NC in 2008 and eventually moved back to Raleigh to complete his degree. He graduated from NCSU in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science degree. He moved back to the Wilmington area in 2016 where he met his wife and worked as a manager for a landscaping company. He now lives in the Leland area with his wife and two children.
